In getting to know you both, the heart of your celebration is clear: this isn’t just you wedding day, it’s an immersive wedding week you’re intentionally crafting with everyone you love gathered to a beautiful place of shared history, slowing down long enough to relax and savor the experience.

You didn’t choose Aulani simply for its beauty, but for its connection to your love of Disney and traditions that have been part of both your families and own story from the beginning. Instead of trying to fit everyone into a single evening of merriment, you're making space to slow down, be present in each other's company; lingering over dinner, walking at the pace of the breeze and sharing wholesome experiences with your families long before the wedding day even arrives.

Using a carefully curated mix of interactions and just knowing how to read a room, when working together you'll never have to worry about how to pose or feel like you're spending your entire wedding day taking photos instead of actually living it. I give a balance of natural, guided direction when you need it and just as importantly know when to step back and let the real life interactions unfold.

I move through a celebration the way a great guest does: present, warm, and completely in it. Watching for what’s happening just beside the moment everyone else is watching - because you told me it's not enough to just see your relationship, you want people to experience it.

You mentioned you’d been to weddings where you said five words to the couple all evening, and this isn’t that. Sixty of your closest people, an entire week instead of one evening. Nothing rushed or overly produced but instead quality time and genuine moments. Ample time to slow down during the week-long celebration, the focus on memories over logistics.

It starts the night before, your people all in one place, Aulani - some who know it intimately. Dinner runs long because you're investing time with the ones who’ve known you both for years. The morning of, it’s quiet before it’s not, the room a buzz with joy balanced with a relaxed sense of ease. Then the moment you see each other at the altar, set against palm trees and the gentle rush of the ocean, your love is palpable to everyone around you. Under the stars, set to the rustle of palm trees, cool grass underfoot, you get to witness everyone else’s love too. The next morning at brunch over Loco Mocos and Mickey waffles no one is rushing, the swapping stories from the night before getting more outlandish in the retelling.

There’s a rhythm to how the day actually unfolds, and I stay close enough to catch it without ever interjecting. Catching a gaze that found each from across the room. The moment Garrett’s expression shifts when he sees you. The friend in the back who can’t stop wiping his tears through the vows. None of it staged or repeated for the camera, just organic, authentic, in-the-moment love.

Speeches that wander a little because the person giving them means every word and the oceanside dance floor that loosens as the night goes on. Your closest people, gathered together, an ease and unhurried tone in an environment you aren't just hosting, but experiencing alongside them.

Getting ready is unhurried. Laughter fills the room with an emphasis throughout the day on presence over production. You and Garrett connecting at the altar, encircled with friends, enveloped with hugs and firm claps on the shoulder when it's official. Not a moment I ask you to hold, just one I make sure I’m close enough not to miss.

Through the ceremony and into the reception, I’m reading the day as it actually happens. Catching the toast that gets a little too honest, the dance floor after a few rounds of mai tais, your friend group as they erupt with laughter. An ease to the day full where nothing feels forced.
